Guro Muneer

A lifelong fan of the martial arts, Guro  has always been fascinated by icons like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li and their fast and flowing styles. One day while watching a documentary featuring the Philippines, he was introduced to the art of Kali-Arnis-Eskrima and was captivated by the double-stick style of fighting. He then searched for Arnis in Singapore and began training under Punong Guro Vicente in December 2005 and soon found that LSAI suited him to a tee with its versatility in sticks, knives, locks, disarms and use of knees, elbows, punches and kicks. A rock solid and steadfast fighter, Guro Muneer likes to let his opponents come to him before punishing them with multiple blows.

After more than five years of highly-consistent, diligent and continued training and upon recommendation by Punong Guro Vicente, Muneer was able to successfully overcome  several highly-challenging tests conducted personally by LSAI Master Nathan Dominguez who flew all the way from the Philippines to Singapore.
