Lightning Arnis (Singapore) is the Singapore branch of Lightning Scientific Arnis International (LSAI) Philippines — the arnis system brought to life by the late Grandmaster Benjamin Luna Lema, fondly known as Mang Ben.
Lightning Arnis (Singapore) traces its roots directly to the University of the Philippines (UP) Sangkil Karasak group. Lightning Arnis (Singapore) also follows a lineage with LEMA Scientific Kali Arnis System or LESKAS. Started in early 2002 by Chief Instructor Vicente “Enteng” Reyes, Lightning Arnis (Singapore) became formalized as a duly-registered organization in 2006.
